I have the honour to refer to the technical meetings relating to the implementation of the Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the State of Israel concerning reciprocal liberalisation measures on agricultural products, processed agricultural products and fish and fishery products, the replacement of Protocols 1 and 2 and their Annexes and amendments to the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the State of Israel, of the other part, which entered into force on 1 January 2010.

5. Les délégations ont affirmé que les procédures de reconnaissance réciproque des décisions réglementaires en matière de conformité des transporteurs aériens et de citoyenneté (nouvel article 6 bis) ne visent pas à modifier les conditions prévues par les dispositions législatives et réglementaires normalement appliquées par les parties en matière d’exploitation de services aériens internationaux (article 4 de l’accord).
5. The delegations affirmed that the procedures for reciprocal recognition of regulatory determinations with regard to airline fitness and citizenship in the new Article 6 bis are not intended to modify the conditions prescribed under the laws and regulations normally applied by the Parties to the operation of international air transportation referred to in Article 4 of the Agreement.

(a) In implementing safeguards under this Agreement, full account shall be taken of technological development in the field of safeguards, and every effort shall be made to ensure optimum cost-effectiveness and the application of the principle of safeguarding effectively the flow of nuclear material subject to safeguards under this Agreement by use of instruments and other techniques at certain strategic points to the extent that present or future technology permits.
