Whereas Article 2 of Council Directive 70/357/EEC of 13 July 1970 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning the antioxidants authorized for use in food intended for human consumption (3), as amended by Directive 74/412/EEC (4), permits Member States to maintain the provisions of their national laws authorizing the use in foodstuffs of calcium disodium ethylene diamine tetra-acetate, propyl gallate and L-ascorbic acid esters of the unbranched fatty acids C 14 and C 18 until 31 December 1977;
Overwegende dat krachtens artikel 2 van Richtlijn 70/357/EEG van de Raad van 13 juli 1970 betreffende de onderlinge aanpassing van de wettelijke voorschriften der Lid-Staten inzake oxydatie tegengaande stoffen waarvan het gebruik in levensmiddelen is toegestaan ( 3 ) , laatstelijk gewijzigd bij Richtlijn 74/412/EEG ( 4 ) , de Lid-Staten tot en met 31 december 1977 hun nationale wettelijke voorschriften mogen handhaven krachtens welke het gebruik van calcium-dinatrium-ethyleendiamine tetra-acetaat , propylgallat en de esters van L-ascorbinezuur van de onvertakte vetzuren C 14 en C 18 in levensmiddelen is toegestaan ;
