In conclusion, the Commission is of the opinion that the implementation of the plan for the disposal of radioactive waste in whatever form, arising from the IRAW-CRAM Storage Facility for Radioactive Waste located adjacent to the National Radioactive Waste Repository at Mochovce in Slovakia, both in normal operation and in the event of an accident of the type and magnitude considered in the General Data, is not liable to result in a radioactive contamination, significant from the point of view of health, of the water, soil or airspace of another Member State.
Concluderend is de Commissie van mening dat de uitvoering van het plan voor de verwijdering van radioactieve afvalstoffen, in welke vorm ook, uit de IRAW-CRAM-Opslagfaciliteit voor radioactief afval, gelegen naast de Nationale Opslagplaats voor radioactieve afvalstoffen te Mochovce in Slowakije, zowel in normale bedrijfsomstandigheden als bij een ongeval van het type en de omvang als bedoeld in de algemene gegevens, niet het risico doet ontstaan van voor de volksgezondheid significante radioactieve besmetting van het water, de bodem of het luchtruim van een andere lidstaat.

On 24 March 2014, the European Commission received from the Slovak Government, in accordance with Article 37 of the Euratom Treaty, General Data relating to the plan for the disposal of radioactive waste from the Mochovce IRAW-CRAM Storage Facility for Radioactive Waste.

1. A holder of sealed sources or radioactive waste who intends to carry out a shipment of such sources or waste, or to arrange for such a shipment to be carried out, shall obtain a prior written declaration by the consignee of the radioactive substances to the effect that the consignee has complied, in the Member State of destination, with all applicable provisions implementing Article 3 of Directive 80/836/Euratom and with relevant national requirements for safe storage, use or disposal of that class of source or waste.

De houder van ingekapselde bronnen of radioactieve afvalstoffen die voornemens is deze bronnen of afvalstoffen over te brengen of te doen overbrengen, verkrijgt van de ontvanger een voorafgaande schriftelijke verklaring waaruit blijkt dat de ontvanger in de Lid-Staat van bestemming heeft voldaan aan alle toepasselijke bepalingen ter uitvoering van artikel 3 van Richtlijn 80/836/Euratom en aan alle relevante nationale eisen inzake veilige opslag, veilig gebruik of veilige verwijdering van die klasse bronnen of afvalstoffen.
