Calls on its competent committees to follow up the implementation of the above recommendations in the next legislative term, including in the context of the hearings of the Commissioners-designate for the next Commission term of office and in their contacts with counterparts in national parliaments; calls on the European Parliament's delegations for relations with third countries and on the European Parliament component of multilateral parliamentary assemblies to regularly raise the issue of climate change and the need for actions and initiatives on the part of all countries in their contacts with third countries' representatives;
207. dringt er bij zijn bevoegde commissies op aan, in de volgende zittingsperiode toe te zien op de uitvoering van bovenstaande aanbevelingen, bijvoorbeeld in het kader van de hoorzittingen met de voorgedragen commissarissen voor de volgende mandaatsperiode, en in hun contacten met de leden van de nationale parlementen; verzoekt zijn delegaties voor de betrekkingen met derde landen en zijn vertegenwoordigers in multilaterale nationale vergaderingen tijdens hun contacten met vertegenwoordigers van derde landen regelmatig de kwestie van de klimaatverandering en de noodzaak van maatregelen en initiatieven van alle landen aan te snijden;
