IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

In order to comply with the requirements of point 6 of Annex I to Commission Regulation (EC) No 633/2007 of 7 June 2007 laying down requirements for the application of a flight message transfer protocol used for the purpose of notification, coordination and transfer of flights between air traffic control units , some Member States or air navigation service providers have to update not only their Internet protocol (IP) network but also many of their flight data systems and network infrastructure.
Om te voldoen aan de eisen van bijlage I, punt 6, bij Verordening (EG) nr. 633/2007 van de Commissie van 7 juni 2007 tot vaststelling van de eisen voor de toepassing van een protocol voor de overdracht van vluchtberichten met het oog op de aanmelding, coördinatie en overdracht van vluchten tussen luchtverkeersleidingseenheden moeten sommige lidstaten of verleners van luchtvaartnavigatiediensten niet alleen hun „Internet Protocol”-netwerk (IP-netwerk) updaten, maar ook een groot gedeelte van hun vluchtgegevenssystemen en netwerkinfrastructuur.

4. Where a Member State or an air navigation service provider has ordered or signed a binding contract to that effect or developed a flight message transfer protocol for the systems referred to in Article 1(2)(a) and (b) before the date of entry into force of this Regulation so that the compliance with the requirements of point 6 of Annex I cannot be guaranteed, the air navigation service provider or the controlling military unit may use other versions of the Internet protocol for peer-to-peer communications between their systems until 31 December 2014.
4. Als een lidstaat of een verlener van luchtnavigatiediensten daartoe vóór de datum van inwerkingtreding van deze verordening een bindende overeenkomst heeft gelast of ondertekend of een protocol voor de overdracht van vluchtberichten heeft ontwikkeld voor de in artikel 1, lid 2, onder a) en b), vermelde systemen, zodat de naleving van de in bijlage I, punt 6, vermelde eisen niet kan worden gegarandeerd, mag de verlener van luchtnavigatiediensten of de militaire luchtverkeersleidingseenheid tot en met 31 december 2014 andere versies van het internetprotocol gebruiken voor peer-to-peer-communicatie tussen zijn/haar systemen.

Those Member States and air navigation service providers shall ensure that all peer-to-peer communications from their systems to those of other Member States or air navigation service providers comply with the requirements specified in Annex I, unless a bilateral agreement concluded before 20 April 2011 allows the use of other versions of the Internet protocol for a transitional period ending no later than 31 December 2014.
Die lidstaten en verleners van luchtnavigatiediensten moeten erop toezien dat alle peer-to-peer-communicatie tussen hun systemen en die van andere lidstaten of verleners van luchtnavigatiediensten beantwoorden aan de eisen van bijlage I, tenzij overeenkomstig een bilaterale overeenkomst die vóór 20 april 2011 is gesloten, andere versies van het internetprotocol mogen worden gebruikt tijdens een overgangsperiode die uiterlijk op 31 december 2014 afloopt.

2. Once the period of one year from the date of adoption of the common protocols and supported data formats has elapsed, all transfers of PNR data by air carriers to the Passenger Information Units for the purposes of this Directive shall be made electronically using secure methods in the form of accepted common protocols which shall be common to all transfers to ensure the security of the data during transfer, and in a supported data format to ensure their readability by all parties involved.
2. Zodra de periode van één jaar na de datum van vaststelling van de gemeenschappelijke protocollen en ondersteunde dataformaten is verstreken, wordt iedere doorgifte van PNR-gegevens door een luchtvaartmaatschappij aan de passagiersinformatie-eenheid die plaatsvindt voor de doeleinden van deze richtlijn langs elektronische weg uitgevoerd, volgens veilige methoden, namelijk in de vorm van aanvaarde gemeenschappelijke protocollen voor alle doorgiften, teneinde de beveiliging van de gegevens tijdens de doorgifte te waarborgen, en in een ondersteund dataformaat, teneinde ervoor te zorgen dat de gegevens voor alle betrokken partijen leesbaar zijn.

12. Strongly believes in the principle of an open internet where traffic is treated equally in a non-discriminatory manner; recognises, however, that the increase in the use of the internet, in particular Internet Protocol TV, has put further pressure on service providers to efficiently manage their network capacity using traffic management tools; believes that any further legislation in this area must have consumer protection at its core whilst permitting necessary traffic management and specialised services where they are not materially detrimental to other users, and at the same time endowing authorities with the ability to take action against criminality;

K. whereas the Iranian authorities continue their efforts to build a ‘halal internet’, effectively denying Iranians access to the World Wide Web, and to use information and communication technologies to crack down on fundamental freedoms, such as the freedoms of expression and assembly; whereas Iran restricts internet freedom by putting limits on available bandwidth by developing state-run servers and specific internet protocols (IPs), internet service providers (ISPs) and search engines, and by blocking international and domestic social networking sites;

All functions exchanged between flight message transfer entities shall use Transmission Control Protocol over Internet Protocol, IP version 6.
Voor de uitwisseling van alle functies tussen entititeiten voor de overdracht van vluchtberichten wordt gebruikgemaakt van TCP/IPv6 (Transmission Control Protocol over Internet Protocol, IP versie 6).

The Transmission Control Protocol together with the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is currently considered as the most appropriate basis to meet the communication requirements of flight data exchanges between air traffic control units.
