Diese gemeinsame Maßnahme sollte auf den nachstehend aufgeführten Forschungs- und Innovationsprojekten aufbauen, ihre Umsetzung in der Praxis fördern und ihre Ergebnisse nutzen: „Klinische Entscheidungsfindung und Behandlungsergebnis in der Routineversorgung von Menschen mit schweren psychischen Erkrankungen“ (CEDAR) (34), „Children of Prisoners, Interventions Mitigations to Strengthen Mental Health“ (Kinder von Strafgefangenen — Maßnahmen und Entlastungen zur Stärkung der psychischen Gesundheit — COPING) (35), „European Network of Bipolar Research Expert Centres“ (Europäisches Netz von Forschungszentren für bipolare Störungen — ENBREC), „Prevalence, 1-year incidence and symptom severity of mental disorders in the elderly: Relationship to impairment, functioning (ICF) and service utilisation“ (Prävalenz, 1-Jahres-Inzidenz und Schwere der Symptome psychischer Störungen bei älteren Menschen: Verhältnis zu Schädigung, Funktionsfähigkeit und Nutzung von Dienstleistungen — MentDis_ICF65+) (36), „Financing systems’ effects on the Quality of Mental health care in Europe“ (Einfluss der Finanzierungssysteme auf die Qualität der psychiatrischen Versorgung in Europa — REFINEMENT), „A Roadmap for Mental Health Research in Europe“ (Fahrplan für die Forschung zu psychischer Gesundheit in Europa — ROAMER), „Save Young Lives in Europe: Promote health through prevention of risk-taking and self-destructive behaviours“ (Junge Menschen in Europa retten: Gesundheitsförderung durch Prävention riskanten und selbstzerstörerischen Verhaltens — SEYLE) (37), „Tailored implementation for chronic diseases“ (Maßgeschneidertes Handeln bei chronischen Krankheiten — TICD) and „Work Together to Stop Truancy Among Youth“ (Zusammenarbeit, um Absentismus in der Schule zu stoppen — WE-STAY).
Deze gezamenlijke actie moet voortbouwen op de onderstaande onderzoeks- en innovatieprojecten, hun uitvoering in de klinische praktijk bevorderen en gebruikmaken van hun resultaten en uitkomsten: CEDAR („Clinical decision making and outcome in routine care for people with severe mental illness”) (34), COPING („Children of Prisoners, Interventions Mitigations to Strengthen Mental Health”) (35), ENBREC („European Network of Bipolar Research Expert Centres”), MentDis_ICF65+ („Prevalence, 1-year incidence and symptom severity of mental disorders in the elderly: Relationship to impairment, functioning (ICF) and service utilisation”) (36), REFINEMENT („Financing systems' effects on the Quality of Mental health care in Europe”), ROAMER („A Roadmap for Mental Health Research in Europe”), SEYLE („Save Young Lives in Europe: Promote health through prevention of risk-taking and self-destructive behaviours”) (37), TICD („Tailored implementation for chronic diseases”) en WE-STAY („Work Together to Stop Truancy Among Youth”).

Insbesondere beteiligt sie sich an den Arbeiten der Sachverständigengruppe, die mit der Überarbeitung der Empfehlung „European Prison Rules“ (Europäische Strafvollzugsgrundsätze) beauftragt ist, in der es indirekt auch um dieses Thema geht.
Zij neemt in het bijzonder deel aan de werkgroep van deskundigen voor het bijwerken van de aanbeveling over Europese detentieregels, waarin deze kwestie indirect aan de orde komt.

[20] Es wurde ein breites europäisches Netz eingerichtet und der ,European Prison Education Association" Unterstützung gewährt, damit sie ihre Tätigkeiten ausführen und erweitern kann.
