While resources are only one big part of the problem—it is a huge part of the problem, obviously, that CBC is facing—the second part of the problem is that you can give people as many resources as you want, but if the will isn't there to do the right thing and if no one wants to understand that Canada is vast in terms of its regions, its demographics, its people, its cultures, its diversity, then obviously it's going to be harder for us to do it; and the CBC is going to need the funding, with just 32 million people rattling around in this big and difficult geographical terrain.
