10. Reaffirms its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and calls for the applicability and benefits of the Agreement to the entire internationally recognised territory of Georgia to be ensured; calls, in this connection, for the EU to continue to engage actively in conflict resolution, through the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, co-chairing the Geneva Talks, and through the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM); encourages more decisive efforts as regards the revision of the restrictive aspects of the law on occupied territories in order to maximise the benefits of the Agreement and the DCFTA;
10. réaffirme son soutien à la souveraineté et à l'intégrité territoriale de la Géorgie et invite l'Union européenne à veiller à ce que l'accord soit applicable et profitable à l'ensemble du territoire géorgien tel que reconnu par la communauté internationale; demande, à cet égard, à l'Union de continuer à s'engager activement dans la résolution de conflits, par l'intermédiaire du représentant spécial de l'Union européenne pour le Caucase du Sud et la crise en Géorgie, par la coprésidence des pourparlers de Genève et par l'intermédiaire de la mission d'observation de l'Union européenne (EUMM); réclame davantage de mesures décisives pour la révision des obstacles juridiques relatifs aux territoires occupés afin d'optimiser les retombées de l'accord et de la création de la zone de libre-échange libre et approfondi;

11. Calls on Russia to respect fully the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, as well as the inviolability of its internationally recognised borders, to reverse its recognition of the separation of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia and to end its occupation thereof, and to reciprocate the commitment to the non-use of force vis-à-vis Georgia; condemns, in this regard, the conclusion of the ‘alliance and strategic partnership’ treaty between the occupied territory of Abkhazia and Russia; views this as a step taken by Russia to conclude the full annexation of Abkhazia; expresses further concern that a similar ’treaty’ may be concluded with the occupied territory of Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia as well; in this regard, calls on the Russian Federation to withdraw the so called ‘treaty’ and comply with its obligations under the 12 August 2008 Ceasefire Agreement;
11. invite la Russie à respecter pleinement la souveraineté et l'intégrité territoriale de la Géorgie, ainsi que l'inviolabilité de ses frontières internationalement reconnues, à revenir sur sa reconnaissance de la sécession des régions géorgiennes d'Abkhazie et de Tskhinvali, en Ossétie du Sud, et à y mettre fin à son occupation, ainsi qu'à respecter l'engagement réciproque de ne pas faire usage de la force contre la Géorgie; condamne, à cet égard, la conclusion du traité d'alliance et de partenariat stratégique, entre le territoire occupé de l'Abkhazie et la Russie, ; estime qu'il s'agit là d'une mesure prise par la Russie pour procéder à l'annexion pure et simple de l'Abkhazie; exprime également son inquiétude de voir un tel «traité» être également conclu avec les territoires occupés de la région de Tskhinvali/Ossétie du Sud; à cet égard, demande à la Fédération de Russie de retirer ce «traité» et de se conformer à ses obligations découlant de l'accord de cessez-le-feu du 12 août 2008;

This prompted the majority leader of Georgia's parliament to accuse Russia of trying to annex these regions or, at the very least, to recognize them as outside the territory of Georgia.

7. Calls on Russia to withdraw its support for separatist forces in Georgia and to engage constructively in the peaceful resolution of the conflicts, particularly by reiterating its commitment to Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and by establishing normal relations with Georgia with full respect for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity;
7. demande à la Russie de retirer le soutien qu'elle accorde aux forces séparatistes de Géorgie et à s'employer de manière constructive à la résolution pacifique des conflits, notamment en réaffirmant qu'elle tient à l'intégrité territoriale de la Géorgie et à sa souveraineté et en normalisant ses relations avec la Géorgie dans le respect total de la souveraineté et de l'intégrité territoriale de ce pays;

The general idea of the Tsawwassen First Nation final agreement is to eliminate the uncertainty that has surrounded the ancestral rights of this aboriginal nation to land that it claims as its traditional territory and which covers 279,600 hectares, including the waters of the southern Strait of Georgia.

Suite à la déclaration de la présidence au nom de l'Union européenne sur l'évolution récente de la situation en Géorgie - Ossétie du Sud, en date du 21 février, l'Union européenne rappelle qu'elle est favorable à un règlement pacifique des conflits territoriaux en Géorgie, qui soit fondé sur le respect de la souveraineté et de l'intégrité territoriale de la Géorgie à l'intérieur de ses frontières internationalement reconnues.
