One would think that this would be a non-partisan issue, that there is not really a wedge to drive here, that it is not a left versus right, but it is just right versus wrong, and that all parliamentarians would agree that, due to the series of Conservative and Liberal scandals, the only good thing that might come out of it is some true and honest reform of the way we do business in Parliament.
On serait porté à penser que la question transcende les partis, qu'il n'y a là-dedans vraiment rien pour semer la zizanie, qu'il ne s'agit pas d'opposer la droite à la gauche, mais plutôt le bien au mal et que tous les parlementaires reconnaîtraient, compte tenu des multiples scandales chez les libéraux et les conservateurs, que tout ce qui pourrait en résulter, ce serait une réforme véritable et honnête du mode de fonctionnement de la Chambre.
