The Colleges agreed to pursue the operationalisation of the African Governance Architecture (AGA) and of a strong African Human Rights System that responds to the needs and aspirations of African citizens within the existing legal instruments in the area of democracy, good governance and human rights and to the fight against corruption in all its forms and manifestations, and agreed to strengthen joint efforts in that regard.
L’UA et l’UE ont convenu de poursuivre l’opérationnalisation de l’Architecture africaine de la gouvernance (AGA) et celle d'un système africain des droits de l’homme fort répondant aux besoins et aux aspirations des citoyens africains dans le cadre des instruments juridiques existants en matière de démocratie, de bonne gouvernance et des droits de l’homme, et de lutter contre la corruption sous toutes ses formes dans toutes ses manifestations.

1. Within the objectives referred to in Article 3 of this Regulation, in the light of the agreed conclusions of the policy dialogue as provided for in Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No 514/2014 and in accordance with the objectives of the national programme referred to in Article 7 of this Regulation, the Instrument shall support actions in Member States, and in particular those from the following list:

4. The Parties agree to co-operate in the prevention and suppression of acts of terrorism in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and international law, relevant conventions and instruments and within their respective legislation and regulations.
