– Mr President, I would just like the House to recognise the presence in the gallery of Noam Shalit, the father of Staff Sergeant Gilad Shalit, a dual Israeli-EU citizen cruelly held in detention for more than three years incommunicado by Hamas in Gaza.
– (EN) Monsieur le Président, je voudrais simplement que le Parlement note la présence à la tribune de Noam Shalit, père du sergent Gilad Shalit, citoyen à la fois d’Israël et de l’Union européenne, maintenu en détention depuis maintenant trois ans par le Hamas à Gaza sans possibilité de communiquer avec l’extérieur.
