There is a fundamental contradiction, Commissioner Füle, which has been discussed today: states such as Serbia, which would like to accede to the European Union, can no longer be part of this framework, while on the other hand, it is extremely important for us to bring the Western Balkans closer, to cooperate with Western Balkan countries, to facilitate cooperation between Romania and its Western Balkan neighbours and between Hungary and its Western Balkan neighbour, Serbia.
