In addition, I would like to draw the attention of my fellow Members to some amendments proposed by my group in favour of a study on the application of the Tobin tax in support of the world cultural heritage classified by UNESCO within the countries of the Union, in favour of a freeze on aid to Turkey, excluding, of course, aid to the earthquake victims, until the Turkish authorities change their attitude to the Kurdish people, on the question of Cyprus and on the subject of human rights in general.
Par ailleurs, je souhaiterais attirer l’attention de nos collègues sur certains amendements de mon groupe en faveur d’une étude sur l’application de la taxe Tobin en faveur du patrimoine culturel mondial classé par l’Unesco dans les pays de l’Union, en faveur du gel de l’aide à la Turquie, hormis naturellement l’aide aux victimes du tremblement de terre, tant que les autorités de ce pays ne changent pas d’attitude vis-à-vis du peuple kurde, de la question de Chypre et du problème des droits de l’homme en général.
