The Italian Government and the Italian public, which is deeply pro-European and fully endorses the Chairman’s words and, more generally, the text adopted by the Convention, echoes the applause with which the House received Mr Giscard d’Estaing’s report.
Tant le gouvernement italien que l'opinion publique italienne, qui est profondément attachée à l'idéal européen et qui, à n'en pas douter, adhère largement aux propos du président Giscard d'Estaing et, plus généralement, au texte adopté par la Convention, s'associent aux applaudissements de l'Assemblée qui ont suivi l'intervention du président Giscard d'Estaing.
