Notes that a strong contradiction exists between the official Chinese aspiration to the universality of human rights and the worsening human rights situation; notes that the recent worsening of the situation of human rights and freedoms in China started in 2013 and has intensified an already existing crackdown over the population, limiting the space for expression and peaceful advocacy for civil society even further; is deeply worried at the arrest, trial and sentencing of numerous civil rights activists, human rights defenders and government critics and at the fact that more than 100 human rights lawyers and activists have been detained or questioned by Chinese police; calls on the Chinese authorities to release those in custody and to ensure that they can exercise their profession without hindrance;
49. fait observer qu'il existe une contradiction flagrante entre le caractère universel des droits de l'homme, que la Chine a officiellement élevé au rang d'idéal, et la dégradation de la situation sur le front des droits de l'homme; relève que la dégradation de la situation des droits de l'homme et des libertés que connaît la Chine a commencé à une période récente (en 2013) et a accentué une répression qui existait déjà envers la population, limitant encore davantage l'espace d'expression et l'engagement pacifique pour la société civile; exprime sa vive inquiétude quant à l'arrestation, au jugement et à la condamnation de nombreux défenseurs des droits civils et des droits de l'homme ainsi que d'opposants au gouvernement en Chine et s'inquiète de ce que plus de 100 avocats et défenseurs des droits de l'homme ont été détenus ou interrogés par la police chinoise; invite les autorités chinoises à les libérer et à faire en sorte qu'ils puissent exercer leur profession sans entraves;

Expresses its concern over Law 107 on the Right to Public Meetings, Processions and Peaceful Demonstrations of 24 November 2013, which places arbitrary limitations on the right of peaceful assembly and allows repression, as well as its implementation, including recent arrests under it; calls for the revision of this law in line with international standards and Egypt’s international obligations, through dialogue with civil society, and for the release of all those who have been arrested, detained and convicted solely for exercising their legitimate rights of freedom of assembly, protest, or freedom of association or expression;
8. fait part de ses préoccupations au sujet de la loi n° 107 du 24 novembre 2013 sur l'organisation du droit aux rassemblements, défilés et manifestations publics pacifiques, laquelle restreint arbitrairement le droit de réunion pacifique et permet la répression, ainsi que de sa mise en œuvre, y compris des récentes arrestations opérées en vertu de ladite loi; demande que soit révisée cette loi dans le respect des normes internationales et des obligations internationales de l'Égypte, dans le cadre d'un dialogue avec la société civile, et que soient libérées toutes les personnes arrêtées, détenues et déclarées coupables pour avoir exercé leurs droits légitimes de liberté de réunion, de manifestation ou de liberté d'expression ou d'association;

Condemns the repression used by the Belarusian authorities against the leaders and members of the UPB led by Mrs Angelika Borys, such as: using the police force in Ivyanets; denying access to the court sessions; imposing administrative fines, and arresting and detaining activists (among them – Anatol Liabedzka, the United Civil Party Chairman and the United Democratic Forces leader) who were trying to express their solidarity with repressed Poles;
1. condamne les mesures de répression utilisées par les autorités du Belarus contre les dirigeants et les membres de l'UPB dirigée par M Angelika Borys, telles que: l'intervention des forces de police à Ivyanets; l'interdiction d'accès aux audiences judiciaires; l'imposition d'amendes administratives à, et l'arrestation et la détention de militants (parmi lesquels Anatol Liabedzka, président du parti civil unifié et dirigeant des forces démocratiques unifiées) qui tentaient d'exprimer leur soutien aux polonais opprimés;
