– unter Hinweis auf die Studie seiner Generaldirektion Interne Politikbereiche (Fachabteilung B: Struktur- und Kohäsionspolitik) vom Januar 2015 mit dem Titel „New Role of Macro-Regions in European Territorial Cooperation“ (Neue Rolle der Makroregionen in der europäischen territorialen Zusammenarbeit),
– gezien de studie van zijn directoraat-generaal Intern Beleid (beleidsondersteunende afdeling B: Structuur- en Cohesiebeleid) van januari 2015 over de nieuwe rol van macroregio's in de Europese territoriale samenwerking,

Die vorbereitende Maßnahme BEST (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Territories of European Overseas) trägt dazu bei, einen raschen und unkomplizierten Zugang zu Finanzmitteln für den Schutz der Biodiversität und die nachhaltige Nutzung von Ökosystemdienstleistungen zu ermöglichen.
De voorbereidende actie ten behoeve van biodiversiteit en ecosysteemdiensten in de Europese gebieden overzee (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Territories of European Overseas of BEST) draagt bij tot de overgang naar een vlotte, eenvoudige toegang tot financiering voor de bescherming van biodiversiteit en het duurzame gebruik van ecosysteemdiensten.

- Die Kommission und die Mitgliedstaaten werden über die BEST-Initiative ( Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Territories of European Overseas ) mit den Regionen in äußerster Randlage und mit überseeischen Ländern und Territorien , die mehr endemische Arten als der gesamte europäische Kontinent beheimaten, zusammenarbeiten, um die Erhaltung der Biodiversität und deren nachhaltige Nutzung zu fördern.
- De Commissie en de lidstaten zullen via het BEST-initiatief ( Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Territories of European Overseas ) samenwerken met de ultraperifere gebieden en de landen en gebieden overzee , die meer endemische soorten herbergen dan het hele Europese vasteland, om de instandhouding en het duurzame gebruik van de biodiversiteit te bevorderen.

Zusätzlicher Stoff zum Nachdenken kann von der bevorstehenden Studie „A European perspective on specific types of territories“ (Eine europäische Sichtweise auf bestimmte Gebietstypen) von ESPON (European Spatial Planning Observation Network - Beobachtungsnetz für die europäische Raumordnung) erwartet werden.
Meer stof tot nadenken zal naar verwachting worden geleverd door het toekomstige onderzoek van ESPON (Europees observatienetwerk voor ruimtelijke ordening) naar een Europese visie op specifieke gebiedstypen (“A European perspective on specific types of territories”).
