Am 10. September 2008 haben die Kommission und die EIB-Gruppe die Initiative JASMINE (Joint Action to Support Micro-Finance Institutions in Europe – Gemeinsame Aktion zur Förderung von Kleinstkreditinstituten in Europa) eingeleitet, die verschiedene Formen der technischen und finanziellen Hilfe bündeln soll, um vorrangig Kleinstkreditgebern außerhalb des Bankensektors zu helfen, die Qualität ihrer Dienstleistungen zu verbessern, zu expandieren und tragfähig zu werden.
Op 10 september 2008 hebben de Commissie en de EIB-groep Jasmine opgericht (Joint Action to Support Micro-Finance Institutions in Europe), dat verschillende vormen van technische en financiële bijstand bundelt om vooral niet-bancaire verleners van microkrediet te helpen hun activiteiten kwalitatief te verbeteren, uit te breiden en duurzaam te maken.

– gezien het verslag van het Europees Instituut voor gendergelijkheid (EIGE) van 2012 getiteld „Evaluatie van de uitvoering door de EU-lidstaten van het actieprogramma van Peking: Geweld tegen vrouwen – slachtofferhulp”,

– unter Hinweis auf den Bericht des Europäischen Instituts für Gleichstellungsfragen (EIGE) aus dem Jahr 2012 mit dem Titel „Review of the Implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action in the EU Member States: Violence against Women – Victim Support“ (Überprüfung der Umsetzung der Aktionsplattform von Beijing in den EU-Mitgliedstaaten: Gewalt gegen Frauen – Hilfe für die Opfer),

The note summarises the status of negotiations after the Bali meeting (COP 13/CMP 3) of December 2007, and presents the issues at stake for building the elements of a future climate agreement: on mitigation the specification of “measurable, reportable and verifiable nationally appropriate mitigation commitments or actions” for developed countries (most likely continuing the emission reduction targets under the Kyoto Protocol); . on adaption, the difficult issue is to define exactly which adaptation activities should be supported by the international system and how developing countries would be able to apply for support; on technology, a comprehensive framework for technology transfer has been decided and ways to assess the effectiveness of technology transfer are being developed; on finance, the challenge is to create a constant flow of financial resources, substantially larger than the currently available funds, and independent of government budgets.
